Protect A Place Where Kids Belong

Every student deserves a place where they are seen, supported, and celebrated. For thousands of New Jersey students, Garden State Esports has become that place: a community where friendships begin, confidence grows, and students discover they matter. But places like this don't exist by accident. They're protected by people who believe every student deserves somewhere to belong.

One thing we hear from parents again and again is:

I wish this had existed when I was in school.

I wish this had existed when I was in school.

Become one of the people making sure today's students never have to say the same thing.

Kiera Karl

The Best Of Garden State Esports

Kiera's journey with Garden State Esports began in eighth grade as a Rocket League player at William Annin Middle School. What started as a love of competition quickly became something much bigger.

Kiera started volunteering at GSE championships and quickly discovered a passion for serving others behind the scenes. They learned tournament operations, became a certified referee, and earned a place on GSE's Student Leadership Team. Their dedication eventually led to a role on the organization's leadership team.

Today, Kiera serves as GSE's Head Rocket League Official and Director of Student Workforce Experiences. They lead the team that welcomes schools during workforce field trips and help coordinate the behind-the-scenes work that makes GSE's statewide championships possible. At just 21 years old, but with eight years of experience through GSE, Kiera now mentors other students and helps them discover the same confidence and opportunities that shaped their own journey.

The experience didn't just build technical skills. It built leadership, confidence, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Today, Kiera is pursuing a Business degree at Raritan Valley Community College while building Azurite Productions, their own esports production company. They also hope to launch a competitive Splatoon league that creates opportunities for the next generation of players and creators.

Kiera's story shows what happens when a student is given more than a place to play. They're given a place to belong, opportunities to lead, and adults who believe in their potential. That's the impact your support makes possible.

I joined GSE because I loved Rocket League. I stayed because people trusted me with real responsibility, believed in my potential, and gave me opportunities I never imagined possible. Today, I'm building a career doing what I love, and now I get to create those same opportunities for other students.
