Logo Design Contest Using Canva

Rules and Prizes

Team Logo Design Using Canva

A team logo is oftentimes the most recognizable symbol of a team or organization.  During this contest, students are asked to create, redesign, or refresh their school or team logo. This logo can then be used during team Twitch streams, on team jerseys, or on the team website.

Students should conduct some research as to what makes a good logo, and be aware of things to avoid in a team logo. A quick survey of peers to see what they envision as the perfect logo for their team might be a good idea as well. Students should be sure to keep their esports Club Advisor involved in the design process to ensure that logo remains appropriate, and will be able to be used after the contest.

The following are the submission guidelines for the Team Logo Design Using Canva. However, these are subject to change as we refine the process. Be sure to check back for updates before submitting an application. Entrants’ work will be reviewed by members of GSE, guest judges, and the community and judged on broad criteria with an emphasis on quality, creativity, and unique use of Canva as a design tool.
